What? Another steamboat again? Yes, since most of the group buying company bring this Flaming Steamboat Buffet and quite a number of buyers achieve for this deal. So why not we have a try and it's just RM16.90 per person. There are 3 branches (Sunway, Setapak and Shah Alam). We choose Setapak branch which near to our house.

After our steamboat dining experience at Plus One Shabu Shabu, SS2, really amazed with their unique soup bases for steamboat.

For this Flaming Steamboat Buffet, they serve tom yam and chicken soup base.

We reach there around 5.30pm and we're the first customer of the day. The environment is not that comfortable, the floor and dining table is oily.

When we reach the restaurant, each table comprises a pot with tom yam and chicken soup base in it. It's kind of self service, so grab your own fork, spoon, plate, bowl and tissue at the buffet table. Their soup is bad, the tomyam full with dregs, and the chicken soup taste weird, full with pepper.We don't even drink their soup.

Their green shell mussels, pink scallops and clams are big and fresh. Forget about the lala, it's too small.

Bamboo clams and prawns are fresh too. Their bamboo clams need better clean up, some are full with sands, so do remember to clean it before you put it into the soup.

Flower Crabs, not much meat inside.There are a few type of fish and chicken fillet.

A lot of steamboat ingredients likes seaweed crab roll, crab sticks, crabs roll, fish ball and etc. If you are those who love to eat seafood 'ball', i think sure you will enjoy it. Unfortunately we are not one of them, we prefer pork or lamb slices but they didn't offer any of it, kind of disappointed.

Vegetables like kangkong, sawi, chinese cabbage, sweet corn, oyster mushroom etc.

Dried Seaweed

There are some cooked food as well, liked rendang curry chicken, steam rice, fried rice and fried mee.

We just tried their rendang curry chicken. It's a bit oily and the chicken is overcooked.

As usual, different kind of noodles are served liked spinach noodle, glass noodle, dried yellow mee, yee mee, mee hoon

These are something different, steamed bun and Dim Sum. Unfortunately these dim sum are not nice.

We tried their fast food like fried spring roll, fried golden crabsticks, Yam roll and Potato Wedges. Not crispy anymore.

These are their Cold/Hot Beverage and ice kacang counter. Soft drinks, ice slush , coffee, longan are available. I still prefer their dried longan drink after trying the ice slush and another longan drink. The ice slush is like those 'coloured water', sweet stuff with no flavour. Another longan drink a bit weird taste, slightly sour.

You can DIY your own ice kacang. This is made by Nado, with a scoop ice-cream on top of it. Look nice right? But not taste right.

Lilo : Eeeee...why tasteless?
Nado : Haha..not my fault leh..their syrup and brown sugar , too thin. I already put a lot. Don't know why still tasteless.
Lilo : I presume this was the worst ice kacang that i've ever had in my life.
Nado : ...........

Different flavour of ice-cream, marshmallow, biscuit sticks, dark chocolate, white chocolate and etc. Do your own favourite ice-cream with different toppings.
