Ramen Taiko , a Japanese restaurant located in Mont Kiara Shoplex. Beautiful facade and backyard with wooden door & panel, decorated with flowers.There are also table and chairs for those who like outdoor dining and you can even see bamboo which planted outside the restaurant. The interior is spacious and cozy with comfortable light and soft background music, really homey.

3 Signature Gyoza
Gyoza, pan fried dumpling with chives, minced pork, round cabbage, dry shrimp and chinese turnip. I like this gyoza, tasty and nice filling ,surprisingly not oily at all but still with a crispy bottom layer. I think they pan fried at first and later steamed to cooked. So it tastes different than others.

Nagasaki Chanpon (RM22)
Ramen with prawn, squid, fish cake, cabbage, carrot and bell pepper. Really different than chashu ramen, this soup is light and sweet. All the seafood are fresh too. If you prefer something light you may try this ramen.

Taiko Chashu Ramen (RM19)
Ramen with sliced chashu, bamboo shoot, braised egg and spring onion. This is their signature ramen, I like the braised egg, really soft especially the yolk. The sliced chashu is delicious with a delightful tender and I also like the strong taste of the bamboo shoot. The soup base is tasty and rich while the ramen noodle is springy. Overall this chashu ramen can consider as a nice ramen but we still can't said it's the best.

It's always hard to get a car park in mid valley. If you going there are just to redeem the coupon, it's better for you to go there around 10am, easier to get a car park. First 4 hours RM2.00.
